WordPress, the Free Content Management System

WordPress is an open source and free content management system based in PHP and coupled with a MySQL or MariaDB server. Features include a theme architecture and a wide template system, also known as Themes. There are hundreds of themes to choose from for any purpose you may have. There are also some plug-ins that can be installed to enhance the functionality of your website and make it more interesting, such as Author Spotlight.

To start using WordPress, simply login to your wordpress site and choose the Administration option from the menu on the left side of the screen. From there you will be able to activate any of the plugins that are installed on your wordpress site. If you need further help, a quick Google search will point you in the right direction to get all the details you could ever want.

Once you are set up with your wordpress site, the next step is to get started adding content to your site. One way to get started is with the built-in WordPress gallery where you can upload pictures for the public to view and comment on. You can also sign up for a GPT (Get Started With) account, which gives you instant access to all of the plugins and functions available on wordpress. These accounts are free and very easy to get started with.
